Woman Center for Development and Culture Albania organized the student training: “FEMALE, SOCIETY & INTERSHIP” to inform and orient the students towards the best models for academic and professional progress. The overall objectives:
The program started with a DE JA VU entitled “What about us? with a focus on recognizing women and their rights throughout history. The students gave their opinions, analyses, and suggestions by emphasizing the importance of taking action after words.
Prof. Rudian Zekthi was the honored guest, who held the seminar entitled “Postmodern Society: Definition and Concept. In the following part, Mrs. Rudina Collaku talked about “The Importance of Social Cultural Activities,” emphasizing INTERSHIP as a need and a necessity of actuality for the benefit of oneself and others. The lecture focused more on internships as an excellent way to gain experience and be exposed to a better professional working environment that develops an individual’s professional skills.
Quizzes, desk games, humor and other entertaining activities followed in the remaining minutes as part of anti-stress and relaxation, as the academic development process has its own fatigue and difficulties.
As the camp drew to a close, participants embarked on a memorable excursion to the historic city of Shkodra, an emblem of Albania’s rich cultural heritage. Against the backdrop of centuries-old architecture and storied landmarks, attendees immersed themselves in the city’s vibrant history, experiencing firsthand the echoes of bygone eras. From the imposing walls of Rozafa Castle to the enchanting lanes of the old bazaar, each step resonated with the tales of generations past, offering a poignant reminder of the enduring spirit of Shkodra. As the sun set over the city’s timeless skyline, participants bid farewell to Shkodra, carrying with them cherished memories and a deeper appreciation for Albania’s cultural legacy.
