“First Aid training” was organized within the framework of the academic training support programs offered by WCDCA. The sessions were led by psychologist Irena Xhaferraj, representative of the Red Cross team in Elbasan. The training inspired a commitment to ongoing learning and skill development in first aid. Throughout the sessions held, 40 attendees engaged in theoretical discussions and hands-on practical exercises to learn how to effectively respond to various medical emergencies. From learning how to administer cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to addressing choking incidents and treating external bleeding, participants gained invaluable knowledge and confidence in their ability to provide immediate assistance in critical situations.
Through engaging demonstrations and interactive learning activities, the training fostered a supportive environment where participants could ask questions, share experiences, and reinforce their understanding of first aid principles. The training of 40 students from diverse faculties succeeded in:
Enhanced Preparedness: 40 students equipped with vital knowledge and practical skills to respond effectively to emergencies.
Increased Confidence: 40 students are empowered to administer first aid cases with scientifically proven interventions.
Improved Collaboration: 40 students fostered collaboration and peer learning among participants.
Community Impact: 40 students are better prepared to positively impact their communities as first responders.
